I've been in love with the idea of cuffs for a year or two now, and I made some sketches about a year ago, but didn't get around to making my own version of a cuff till a few days ago. I'm hooked.
Not only are cuffs a cool thing to wear on your wrist, they're a mini canvas just waiting to be created upon.
Since I use lots of faces in my work, my take on cuffs is a long, straight body, with a head on top. I didn't expect to be so taken with making these little people, but I am. Here are the first two.
I'm sure there will be more.

Your cuffs are stunning! I particularly like Sea Foam...
xxx
ps my daughters were thrilled with their little presents!
Oh thank you! I almost sent you a note when I posted these, but didn't want to be a bother. I can see how the sea foam colored cuff would be your favorite, it reminds me of some of your amazing knitted confections.
I'd love to hear more about your daughters and their "little presents".
LOVE your cuffs.....unique and beautiful! xxxx
Thanks HF, I'm totally enjoying the new, simple "canvas", and the challenge of drawing, rather than sculpting faces.
I love your unique sense of creativity. The cuffs and especially this girl in black. Your sensitivity and individuality show through so graciously.
Oh, Orice, what a lovely thing to say, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kind words, thank you!
